I got quite a few good shots last nght with
the Point and Shoot.
I missed the key ones though - like when the
birthday cake was brought out!
A few of us went as "early 70s"
(what a decade hippies at the start, disco in
the middle and punk by the end!!)
This is me/us:
Do you see the wig????
Anyway..........in the scrum to get shots of
the candles being blown out I decided to lean
round a piller holding up one of the
marquees. Sadly I did not notice the lantern
there!!
So my wig caught fire - at the crucial
moment!!!
There was much slapping of heads and
hooting.....and the moment was lost!!!
This is the shot taken a split second after
I ignited.
(Now that I look again - I think I missed a
few close ups of thise really cool boots!!!)
Bummer!!
It was a good wig too - and I had to swap it
for a black curly afro....which didn't look
quite right!!!

didn't get hurt, but the scene must have been
comical; what a memory, (..." remember
the time Granddad's wig caught on
fire?").

I have to say you look totally adorable in
