A Thoroughly British Summer

Despite forecasts and weather at home suggesting otherwise, at the coast it was a heavy rain cloud day. Boo Hoo. A strong wind whipped up the sand and salt water in little frenzies of excitement, my hat blew along the beach stopping to gather more sea and sand every 5 yards or so, but the dog had a whale of a time. I suppose that was the main point of the day.

Good to see some British traditions continue regardless.
