cheer, it's my first xpro medium format
rolls, quite pleased with how some of it came
out, with some mistake and mishaps of course
which can be learnt from for the next xpro
rolls I'll take.
I already hand in one agfa rolls to be
xpro, and one provia to be process normally.

Superb shot, i love the details and your
candid i'm-a-nice-guy expression (sorry you
muppet, but it's really kinda naive *lol*).
The colours are great. Congrats on your new
photo-toy ;-)
Cheers, Mariana.

nice one!
that lubitel can do quite well with 50ISO.
i remember i took it once for a trip in the
tatra mountains with a roll of 50ISO b&w
polish fotopan film and i was pleasantly
surprised with the quality - much better i
had from any of my zeniths and practica.

You can get that camera easily, in eBay you
can easily win it for between ££5 to £20,
cheaper than a Holga, thought not as
conventional as a Holga.

squarefrog I don't think I'll used the Lubitel a lots
since it's less conventional but I can try
and make the most of it when there are time
I'll need it.
khairilfz that kinda what I like about this shot, it's
not wide angle, or slighty distorted, but
it's properly sharp at the perfect focus
length.

what a great portrait! i suspect if you used
it more you'd stop thinking of it as less
conventional. :)

I dunno about that, my style of shooting is
unusual, I just want to point and shoot, with
the camera ready in my pocket or in my
Sidekick bag, I still will used the Lubitel,
just not as much as my LC-A and my soon to
acquired Contax T3.

oh, i can see what you mean. i guess for me
i'm so used to tlr now that i don't really
think of them as taking extra time to do
anything. but it is true you have to get
used to the viewfinder. that can be a bit
tricky at first.
Posted 20 months ago.

|

The Lubitel viewfinder is quite obnoxious, I
don't think all the TLR are like that but the
Lubitel really have to look very close in the
viewfinder to see if the subject is in focus,
especially the small magnify glass.
