Thomas Schütte’s 'Model for a Hotel 2007', which sits atop the fourth plinth at Trafalgar Square, lends itself perfectly to those of us who like to dissect a shot - every angle reveals a new structure. It's quite amazing.

An architectural model of a 21 storey building, constructed in specially engineered red, yellow and blue glass, it is over 8 tonnes in weight and about 5 metres tall.

Experiment - The birds

I'm really not sure about this picture and so I'd be massively grateful for your constructive comments. Does it work? Is it under-exposed? How would you improve it?

If you have a moment, I really would appreciate your thoughts as I feel I'm in completely new territory here...

Horse and man

Taken at Horse Guards on Whitehall. Zoom lens used to good effect - I didn't want to get too close to the horse's backside :)

The Telegraph

A year or so ago, the Daily Telegraph moved back to Central London from Canary Wharf. The lobby of the new building - attached to Victoria Station - is a wonderful sea of colours.

There's a fair bit of noise in this shot as it was taken at ISO 1600.

Dusk

Taken late yesterday afternoon in London's Covent Garden. The image has been cropped square - of course! - but is otherwise unprocessed. This is exactly what i saw. It was a lovely evening.
