peace here, for sure. I wish you could come
visit and walk the sea with me! Have a
wonderful day, my wild and crazy lady friend

you! Also, the COWGIRL SHAPE OF THE BOOT,

oh, yes . . . I can honestly say that any
time in my life I haven't felt well, one trip
to the ocean was instant medicine!
Ah, yes . . . rain, wind and ocean sounds .
. . not to mention the smells that accompany
these senses . . . ah . . . heaven on earth!

Ditto Boris aka The Challenge's words. :) I love sea shots because I'm the
daughter of the sea-- growing up by the sea.
:)
I LOVE the amazing golden light on the sand!
Magic light just like those quotes of wisdom
dawning upon a soul yearning for an awakening
in the vicissitudes of the life tides.
Yours is not an "ocean of
nothingness" but an ocean of resourceful
creativity and hope, dearest Antoinette
sistah!

Wonderful lighting and composition, I guess I
am so lucky with the ocean only a 7min drive
from where I live. It is always my first
thought when things get me down, to head for
the beach, a long walk along the water's
edge, wind in my hair, I always feel
exhilarated and replenished!!

I am back! After viewing your shadow shot, I
was reminded of a shot I took last Saturday.
So I processed and posted! Thanks for the
inspiration!!!

BTW - I don't have an ocean to go to, but
this shot was taken in the place where I go
for healing and renewal......

...she swam upon the shore, and splashed
about in a warm shoe-shaped puddle a child
had made. the only sound were waves. the only
being, a kind soul with a contraption unknown
to her....
...as the tide rose higher, she got up and
walked away, not knowing where she would go.
her feet were dipping in cooler waters, toes
touching the afternoon sand, with a magic
boot upon her hands......one that was to
scatter dreams, and wishes, to mankind...

Yes I do live close to the sea but it's been
hard to make it down there lately. I'm about
15 miles away now. Even though it is
protected from Vancouver Island it is still
the ocean and I too could not live anywhere
else. As long as I am in driving distance,
I'm happy. I do love the Oregon coast though
.. the waves ... I can hear them. The wide
open feel is so replenishing for me.
Now, with all my moving and being absent
this year from Flickr ... what's this about
you not being well hon? I do hope you are
feeling better now. I'm sorry I neglected to
check in on you, =0{
Thanks for stopping by my new baby-to-be
pics ... I'm going to have a fine time with
this series.

Hi Joy! I'm glad you are near the sea and
hope you will be able to get there soon!
Hope you are finally settled in. Moving is
sooo stressful. I'm fine...finally! Long
summer....but at least, weatherwise, it was
pleasant! Thanks for stopping by...always a
JOY!

Antoinette, I LOVE THIS TITLE..... You might
know or not that I had the joy and pleasure
to live the largest part of my life always
near beautiful lakes or the sea and only now
I am deep -inland-, stranded and there
doesn't pass a day I am not wishing to be
near water again.....
I think I can say that I have a very serious bout of LAKE FEVER, the suffering is not always bad but always when I look at photos with water, my heart
jumps with distress and joy at the same
time.... Knowing that I WILL return to the
shores of MY lake - one day - makes the fever
bearable.... just!!!!
I have a quite similar take at Lac Leman
(Switzerland, also called Lake Geneva):
www.flickr.com/photos/vol-au-vent/289819634/
(I think I wouldn't upload it nowadays but
then I was still young and innocent.... :) :)
:) - or so I'd like to believe!)
