OH, I really like the way you have used
multiple quotes... It builds a nice story....
The weather vane is wonderful and must have
a great patina that only adds more character
to the friendly old building..

I love your quotes - I'm a quote junky too!
My favorite is:
"A ship in it's harbor is safe,
but that's not what ships are for."

That de Saint-Exupery quote is one of my
favorite quotes of all time. Beautiful.
Thanks for reminding me, just brought a smile
to my otherwise poor day.

Very thought provoking, I like the last quote
best. So true....if you're not looking in the
right direction. Life is very hard.
I like what Wednesday said too : )

This is fantastic Antoinette!!!!! And I mean
ALL of it .... the image (GREAT colors!), the
quotes, YOUR words, and the comments you've
received so far.....I'll be sure to come back
later to see what other gems you gather!
I have a pretty good sense of direction,
especially when out in the country (we won't
talk about cities!).....I usually have a
rough idea of where I am at, and a general
sense of where I want to get to.....and the
journey between.....ahhh, that is called
LIFE, and it takes some very interesting
twists and turns while navigating from point
A to point Z

I love your pictures and yes I love
quotations, too!
Here is a COLORFUL quotation for you:
“When you have a rainbow deep down in your
heart, your smile will shine bright. You know
you're a part of that colorful, magical,
feeling you'll find, when you have a rainbow
inside.”

Dear friend
I can't change the direction of the wind, but
I can adjust my sails to always reach my
destination. (Jimmy Dean)
www.flickr.com/photos/vol-au-vent/397842478
Your work is ALWAYS worth visiting. And not
only do you find the matching words but you
have a good sense of humour. Thank you for
sharing your little treasures with us - and
this is a fine picture I would have loved to
have taken myself!
As for directions; I get lost all the time
and my trips abroad were (especially for my
family) always a bit of an endurance. But....
I always find my way back home... isn't that the importance of our finding directions? :)

Yup, this is my philosophy too! And
"journaling" helps reveal all sorts
of pearls of wisdom!
Thanks arty zen!
Ah, LOVE that quotation! Many thanks for
your kind words. Veering off the path is
good for the soul! Somehow we always find
our way home again, and often more enriched!
Thanks so much for your visit! I'll be over
soon!
That's so special, Kai! Sending you a
rainbow of colorful wishes with a pot of gold
at the end!
