Maggie, serendipity happened again with your
image of the rippled water! Ah, we're on a
similar path . . . and I love your reference
to the "inner rooms" . . .

Your artistic experiment is overwhelming,
dearest Antoinette sistah!! It is hauntingly
beautiful. Yes, just like Maggie said, it's rather like a private room of
oneself. The barred, dark double window
reflections look a bit depressed; yet there
are some illuminated doors right next to
them, exits or outlets of an imprisoned soul,
which is quite a perfect statement for your
physical suffering (and therefore some
psychological depression by the physical
limitation).
I am glad you are trying to find a
metaphorical door out of the temporary barred
windows. I am amazed at the extraordinary
calmness I feel from this image. No groaning,
howling, or complaining but only sweet
contemplation and amazing creativity shining
on the dark waters!
Hope to come back to catch up with your
former post-- the ropes. How I wish I could
have time to write more poetic and more
concise comments. Sorry for the wordy and
blah blah long comment. I am just trying to
write out whatever I have in mind without
much organization of my thoughts. :)
LOVE YOU!!!!! MOUAH!!!!!

Hey Chris . . . how did you sneak in here?
I should try an oil painting of this, don't
you think? Trouble is, I don't do oils! Or,
I should say, I haven't done oils since I was
a kid . . . maybe it's time to begin!

This image captivated me immediately…there’s
something special and magical about it. I
loved reading the comments … especially loved
the ‘inner room’ thought line….
I feel total serenity when looking at this.
The subtle ripples are just enough to break
up the hard lines of reality. And the muted
colors are so soothing. I’m not sure why, but
I keep being drawn to the dark space in the
lower left….and then I come up to the area
just above where the light transitions into
the dark….and I rest there……..

ah, your realness touches me so deeply, my
dear friend . . . and I agree about the
"inner room" line . . . I think

I'm amazed. I hardly dare to say so, because
you always dazzle me with your talents and
insights, but I do believe you have outdone
yourself completely with this one. It is
definitely my number one all time favorite of

could fav it a million times, a zillion

Thanks so much, Sir Blunder! Something
other than the camera "clicked"
when I shot this! Just had that feeling . .
. but believe me, this doesn't happen very
often! I've printed out the image, but for
some reason it looks better here! Hope you
are feeling better.

Yes, my dear Lady A, i do feel better, thank
you.
I felt the click as well, the moment I laid
eyes on this photo. It's hard to describe,
but it draws me in. Like underneath the water
surface, there is a Lady of the Lake, very
much like you, yet not the same. Holding an
ancient sword, that heals and protects those
who are in need of her, and that strikes down
all those who oppose her beauty and her love.

Sir Blunder . . . I do hope you have a
special journal with all your lovely
compliments! I actually have one just for
thank you notes! EWE are very special! I
love the thought of having a healing sword
that also protects! Very interesting concept
here. Have you created any stories for your
son? I bet you tell the most wonderful
bed-time tales!
