Amazing, just one question, how did you
change the colour of the sky without
effecting the tree? There's couple of option
to do it in photoshop, but loads of work.

I use a Canon 5D w/ tripod and a Hoya R72 IR
filter. I typically use a 17-40 f/4L lens as
well, and that's it!
I set the whitepoint manually and then bring
the resultant JPEG into Photoshop. Then, I
perform an "Auto Levels" followed
by a Channel MIxer to reverse the red and
blue channels. That is about it!

Yes I do have an IR filter. I use the Hoya
R72 77mm on a Canon 17-40mm lens.
Well... they're real for IR. Depending on
the exposure... all things that contain
chlorophyll will appear as white or reddish
pink in IR.

front page!!! That's pretty awesome!
This is a true camera IR shot. None of the
coloring was faked. The only thing done by
software was levels, setting the whitepoint,
and converting from Camera RAW to JPEG.
