I usually don't repost my photos but this one is very special. Friday I got a letter from Costco telling me that this shot had won 3rd price in their annual International Photo Contest with 21,000 entries. Suffice it to say that I'm thrilled to bits.

Best friends

We've been having unseasonably hot weather these past days with temperatures in the high 70's and low 80's. Doesn't feel right for the middle of November somehow. However, what can you do but enjoy the chance to get out there and enjoy it? So we went on a wonderful 6 mile hike with these two great friends.
