I love these. Reminds me of my childhood too.
Didn't climb the trees, we use to put a
blanket under the tree and start shaking the
poor thing. But haven't had one in 16 years,

Mmmmmm... mulberries...
We used to pick heaps and heaps when we
went to the Grandies' for holidays. If Nanna
was quick enough she would make pies out of
them {:->
Trivia for the day: If you get mulberry
stains on your hands/mouth/clothes, just get
the white (unripe) ones, rub on the stain,
rinse with water and it comes right of.

Great color :) I love berries... although,
my childhood memory of them involves me
getting sent into a prickly raspberry bush
and getting all scratched up. But the pie we
had later was excellent :)

Oh wow.............mulberries...........I can
nearly taste them. Many memories of Mom
sending us kids out to pick enough mulberries
for a pie. We never made it back with enough
for anything, but always with purple fingers
and lips. Great photo............

I had a mulberry bush in my yeard as a kid.
I remember how sweet they were. I also
remember that the bats used to feast on them
at night too...Excellent image!
