Oh, this is the stuff dreams are made of.
Such a gorgeous setting. I am always looking
for places like this to photograph and use in
my work, but rural New England doesn't have
anything like this. This looks like a
gentleman's estate.
Glad you had a lovely lunch!

But we all live in houses like this, don't
we? Oh, I see what you're doing. Pretend we
don't so we don't get so many tourists. Good
thinking.
Now, where's Jeeves got to? He was supposed
to be here with tea 5 minutes ago....sigh

Beautiful image. I've not been to Willersey
- I have wandered around Broadway which is
very touristy but worth a visit. Have you
been to Bourton-on-the-Water or Woodstock?
Chippy (Chipping Norton)? Oxford is just on
the edge of the wonderful Cotswolds - so I
should know the area well ... Sounds like
you had a fabulous trip.

Wonderful! This is typically English I think,
I can see the lady of the manor serving tea
with raspberry muffins under the shad of one
of those big trees. Now only a few ducks on
the pond and I would call this place
heaven;-) Good that you have had such a good
time!

You were right about my "Swan Lake"
photo being of the same place. 26th July...I
checked my diary and I must have driven
through Broadway that day en route to one of
the wildlife rescue centres in the area with
an injured vixen. She'd been caught in an
illegal snare intended for one of the
Cotswold Big Cats! We have to deal with a lot
of that sort of thing up here....idiots who
think they're the big white hunters on
safari. Some of the locals even encourage
them, fearing for the safety of their pets! I
cut two snares last week and another this. We
know who it is, but can't prove it....yet!
