While strolling
Pikes Place on moms day I ran across this girl selling tulips in the market. I just dug her whole
"early 60's vibe" she was rolling with and I wanted a photo, but she was really shy and soft spoken and demured away. Still I talked her into it by chatting up that almost - cherry, white
1960-1963 Mercury Comet (which of course was hers :^) and asking her to pose in front of it. She was very proud of
her sled and told me it took her about a year to find it on
cragislist.
Lesson one about shooting candids on the street; No one has time for you, until you care about something they care about...
My man to the right was making his rent
the old fashioned way... he was earning it! But I just love that
"what you look'n at? NYC look he cut me and the way he strutted that
"Bowser" hair.
(yes, if you got that last reference your old and were permanently scared by bad 70 TV :^) I was clearly on his turf and
bugging him so I soon turned my camera elsewere.
