Very cool, I just spent the day driving
around for something like this, and
everything I saw was ruined by a crapy
background. Great shot

John - I could see that happening in
developed areas where we see these so much,
fields and roadsides. This was by the edge
of a railroad track that goes off into a
wildlife hunting area.
Beckie - these are a yellow clover, looked
them up before and got about 5 names. Think
a common legume, good for soil. thanks for
the invite.
Shirl - Thanks, I was going for that too. I
couldnt get the full expanse and focus I
wanted so I took two shots one with a mid and
one with a near focus and also a slight left
right pan difference and used a brush to
combine them.

I really like this, Mike! I've never seen
yellow clover before. I can imagine it must
smell nice and sweet. Such a beautiful scene
... I would think it would be hard to walk
away.

Nice to read that you used a brush to meld
two images together! We just received a disc
of Corel Photo 8, and haven't even explored
what it can do! Wonderful feeling to this
photo and I had wondered how you got so much
in focus! My Congrats!

Mike, I saw this in Explore and then saw it
was yours. Good shot.and tho
I don't understand what you did to get this
result it was worth it. I have never seen
yellow clover before. I gotta get down there
sometime. I liked your cave walk and your
flowers are different. I have heard that the
fireflies blink al together in t the same
paatern, in the Smokies too. (Souther
Living). Congrats!

Our clover always seems to be that boring
white!!! AND, I never see fields of it, but
knowing our wildlife it wouldn't last for two
minutes.
I second Shirl on this with it stretching to
infinity
Lovely & Beautiful!
