The fantastic vault of the Angel Quire in Gloucester Cathedral is still richly decorated in the manner all medieval churches would once have been. The detail when you get close is phenomenal considering it is so far up and away from the public gaze

	archidave says: glad to know i am not the only one who gets off on this kindof detail ;) welll tehre is a gallery half way up the cathedral, and tehn this was taken with a full 250mm zoom. glad you liek it cheers Lu Thanks CJ. it was difficult to know how to process this one so i left well alone for the most part lol. well you only have little legs and this was quite a way up! :D Saddly I couldnt watch much of it because digital reception is so bad. Gave up last week and switched to teh annalogue again so BBC4 went completely. What i did wwatch was pretty cool though. Its just my period Thank you David.
