Yes!!! It's a very amazing city I used to
live there for several years before! Nice
capture I really like this!
Oh how much I miss Mt. Rainier!!! I used to
see it very clearly all the way in North
Seattle from my window. Some days it was so
clear!!!

Very beautiful shot. I've only been to
Seattle a handful of times but I've never

Very beautiful. I remember this view from
Quenn Anne Hill like it was yesterday. Both
times I've been to Seattle, I was lucky
enough to have good weather like that.

What a fantastic view of Rainier. You're
right, when I was standing at that same spot
a year or two ago, you wouldn't have known
her majesty was standing guard. Very cool
image and explanation, Ara. Glad you thought
better of bopping the poor charming boy...

I was up there last month, but somehow I
missed this view. I can't BELIEVE how big Mt.
Rainier looks in this photo, especially
knowing how many miles away it is. It would
be nice to be here for dawn or dusk.

Rainier from that vantage point? I managed
not to see the mountain while standing on its
slope! It was that foggy!

This is a beautiful shot my dear, and you're
right, only on a handfull of days can you see
around you so clearly. And, on those days,
there isn't a city that can touch the beauty
of Seattle... unless your STUCK in the worst
traffice on the West coast.... :-/

Great capture.... and yes it can be a
beautiful city on those right moments. THe
light on the mountain and the buildings is
wonderful and surreal....

Great shot. The Galen Rowell gnd filter is
great. He used it beautifully to capture the
most amazing landscape photos.I wish I had
one of his books. But in Australia I have
never come across any.Sad he tragically died
the same way as John Denver another nature
legend

The beautiful Mount Ranier and the space
needle in tandem. It is a lovely sight from
above on Kerry Park. Love the square format
here to emphasize the tower and the side of
the mountain over 60 mi away. Beautiful and
lush clouds on the horizon.

Ara - it amazes me how often I come across
your work all across flickr, no matter I'm
searching for. This is such a great
perspective from within Seattle - really a
classic, though I had no idea where it was
shot from - I've learned a bit once more from
your experience. The next day I've got a
clear view of Rainier I'll have to check out
Queen Anne.
